Use Zoning Chat to understand the rules and limitations for a specific address.
Struck will sort through zoning plans and local regulations at the municipality, neighbourhood, or even plot level, largely based on what is available on the Omgevingswet website.
The chat starts by asking you to input an address, and then all questions are interpreted in the context of that location.
You can choose which plans and designations should be considered in the answer by selecting or deselecting them.
Here you can get answers about:
Plots with a monument status are special from a zoning perspective, and the rules apply accordingly.
To minimise false answers, zoning will highlight whether an address is considered a monument according to our sources. If you disagree with this assessment, you can select ‘no’ and let us know, to give you the answers you are looking for.
Sometimes, a topic that seems to be specific to an address may actually be better answered by general regulations, and vice versa, due to how responsibilities are divided at the governmental level.
For cases like this, such as parking regulations, zoning will provide a split response.
You'll see a collapsible section header that separates the answer into two parts: one based on address-specific rules and one based on general regulations.
While Zoning Chat is powerful for location-specific information, there are a few things it doesn't support right now:
It only works with one address at a time.
It can’t estimate costs or pricing for permit applications.
It won’t provide exact measurements or dimensions.
Zoning rules often describe building envelopes or zones, but don’t always specify precise numbers like surface area in square meters or maximum building height in meters, especially in a fully structured format.
It doesn’t search external PDFs.
It doesn’t know all the general regulatory questions.
**⭐** Tip: Use Zoning Chat to find answers about a specific address
**⭐** Tip: If you're not getting the answer you’re looking for, try rephrasing your question in Technical Chat (using the municipality of your plot).
***⭐ Tip: Try permit free for finding dimensions.***
***⭐ Tip: Try Technical Chat or Projects to examine external PDFs***

This ensures you get exactly what you need, providing greater precision and efficiency in working with the exported data.
